Hi to you all, car specs: Ford Focus Titanium 1.6 TDCI. 2012. 32k . I have had the car 8 months. I have had no problems with the car until recently when whilst stationary at lights i became aware of strong diesel exhaust fumes in the car.

Bought my Focus 1.6 TDCI LX hatchback yesterday, and everything seemed fine. The drive home was problem free, smooth and responsive, I was impressed and chuffed with my purchase. Got back home at half 8, parked her up, ready for tomorrow.

Hi All, I have got a 2015 MK3.5 Ford Focus 1.5 Tdci Titanium which has the push button start and its having issues some times when you want to start it. the issue is when you want to start the engine it will crank but not fire up, So if you hold the clutch down and press the start button it will turn the engine over but
If the fan's kicking in as soon as you start a cold engine, and the air con's turned off, then I'm sure that this is a fault, unfortunately. If the engine's warm when you start it, then the fan might kick in immediately - this is because the coolant heat will be concentrated at the top of the engine - due to lack of pump circulation - which is where the coolant temperature sensor's located.
