There are advantages in shooting jpegs. That's why you will find this mode even in the pro bodies. have 4 cameras in our production environment 2 5D Mk IV, 1 5D Mk III and 1 5D Mk II. All Canon made lenses, battery grips and batteries. CF Cards all are Delkin that write at 67 MB/s. We shoot 1080p All I Frame. Been shooting with these cards and and camera firmware @ 2.12 for a long time with no issue.
Auto-Focus for Shooting Video. Auto-focus technology has advanced at a pretty incredible rate, especially for video. While I’ve always used auto-focus for photography, it really wasn’t part of my video recording workflow with the Canon 7D. Auto-focus for video was something you did when just learning in film school.
Video. The EOS M50 is Canon's first consumer-level camera to support 4K (UHD) video capture. It does so at 24p/25p with a maximum bitrate of 120Mbps using the H.264 codec with IBP compression. In order to shoot 4K you must set the mode dial to the dedicated video setting.
